🧑💻 The Role
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at NewStore, you’ll help build pipeline from the ground up playing a key role in both creating and converting demand.
This is not a traditional BDR role. Sitting at the intersection of Marketing and Sales, and working inside our Demand Generation function, you’ll engage target accounts through outbound prospecting while also capturing and qualifying inbound interest. Just as importantly, you’ll help us learn what resonates in the market from messaging and personas to channels and timing.
Operating within an evolving go-to-market motion, your work will directly shape how NewStore engages modern retail leaders and scales pipeline generation.
We’re seeking a fast-moving, data-driven self-starter who thrives on smart qualification, quick follow-up, and using AI, automation, and intent data to engage retail decision-makers at the right moment. You’ll love experimenting, building pipeline, and uncovering insights that fuel growth.
🚀 What You’ll Do
Engage and qualify inbound and outbound leads, ensuring timely, personalized and thoughtful follow-up
Qualify MQLs by ensuring they meet specific criteria, and convert them into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs)
Partner closely with Marketing and Sales to test messaging, campaigns, and target personas
Execute multi-touch, insight-driven outreach tailored to retail decision-makers
Leverage tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, Salesloft, Clay, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to prioritize efforts
Use AI and automation to improve personalization, efficiency, and engagement
Support event and campaign follow-up to maximize pipeline impact
Maintain strong CRM hygiene and track engagement insights
Provide structured feedback on:
ICP and target account definition
Messaging effectiveness
Market signals, objections, and trends
🌱 What We’re Looking For
3–5 years of experience in BDR, SDR, MDR, or similar B2B SaaS role
Comfortable with both outbound prospecting and inbound lead management
Experience or interest in working in early-stage or evolving GTM environments
Strong communicator with the confidence to engage retail leaders
Curious and analytical—you look beyond activity to understand what works and why
Organized, proactive, and resilient with a strong sense of ownership
Collaborative mindset with a passion for working across Marketing and Sales
Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot/Marketo, Salesloft, Clay/ZoomInfo/Apollo, 6sense, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and AI tools
Fluency in English required
